I think Malia Ann and Sasha looked great for the inauguration. I especially like Sasha's bright colors. I hope girl's from all over the country begin to follow their lead!!
I love the first family .. but, I honestly don't think they're fashion is anything special .. It's sort of drab and uninspiring .. I guess for tweens, Sasha and Malia look fine, there's not much you can do for kids that age short of making them look too grown .. So, I would say their clothes are definitely age appropriate. But I personally feel that the FIRST LADY's duds, are just that .. duds. Her clothes are too old and not flattering in the least .. the only outfit I didn't mind is the Ball Gown .. I didn't love it, and i didn't hate it. But, in reality I'm not necessarily looking for them to be style icons .. They're the FIRST FAMILY and they represent the idea of a better America .. it's not like they're Lauren Conrad or Whitney whose clothes define their lives and careers, they're only as good as their last outfits ..
Fab!? I don't see what all the hoopla is about. I don't think that Michelle has the grace and fashion sense of some of the other first ladies like Jackie O and Nancy Regan. Half of what I've seen her in I could pick up in similarity at the local Walmart or Target. The first black and red number she had on I had seen the same style design and print under a different label brand 6 years ago at a wedding that I attended in NJ! So how is that ground breaking? Not to mention it made her middle area look like it had its own zip code. The material and the fit... bad choice.
So all in all I'm not flattered by what she is wearing currently nor am I inspired. Let's hope that her husband can do a better job running the country than they are doing being the "First Fashion Family Fab!"

dont we just love them. not only are they prestigious and prominent people in our lives for the next four years (hopefully eight), but they are FLY TOO! this is the first time, the first family LOOKS SO GOOD! like for real, for real... I LOVE THEM!
