The 1940's - 1960's era was very kind to the CurvyGirl. Women never had to apologize for having a curvaceous bod. Women really looked like women and not bony boys.
I want to re-create her look for myself. I have the 'blond" hair and Lord knows I am all curved-up! I will keep posted!
I recently saw the movie "Cadillac Records" . The movie explores the music from the early 1940's to the 1960's. Despite the advertisements and promotions this not just a Beyonce movie. The movie also stars Adrien Brody , Jeffery Wright , Cedric the Entertainer and Mos Def.
The promoters did a disservice to the movie. Beyonce really does not appear until good hour into the movie and is only on screen for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Besides that she does do a fine job as Etta James. She has Etta's stance and mannerisms down .
This movie is very good! I encourage anyone who is a music buff to view the movie & purchase the soundtrack. The viewer will learn how many artists ( IE The Beach Boys) stole music from the real pioneers . The movie covers all the facts. It's a grand depiction of the early music industry.
